Nexstar Names Matt Morse as Vice President of its Broadcast and Digital Operations in Fresno, California

Veteran Media Executive Returns to the Central Valley to Lead KSEE-TV (NBC), KGPE-TV (CBS) and YourCentralValley.com

FRESNO, California (January 9, 2025) - Nexstar Media Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: NXST), today announced that it has named Matt Morse as Vice President and General Manager of its broadcasting and digital operations in Fresno, California (DMA #55), including KSEE-TV (NBC), KGPE-TV (CBS), YourCentralValley.com, and their related digital and social media channels. Mr. Morse will begin his new duties immediately and report to Senior Vice President and Regional Manager, Matthew Rosenfeld.

Mr. Morse is extremely familiar with Fresno and the surrounding area, having served as General Manager of KMPH-TV (FOX) and KFRE-TV (CW) in Fresno from December 2019 to November 2022. Most recently, he brought his expertise to Nexstar's San Francisco (DMA # 10) CW affiliate, KRON-TV, where he has been Sales Manager since May 2024. Over his career, Mr. Morse has held a variety of leadership roles in sales management across key markets, including Kansas City (DMA #33), Portland (DMA #23), and Santa Barbara (DMA #123), as well as sales positions in Los Angeles (DMA #2) and Fresno (DMA #55). His extensive experience reflects a deep understanding of local markets and a commitment to driving growth and innovation.

Mr. Morse has served a multitude of community organizations everywhere he has lived. He helped facilitate several St. Jude dream home giveaways in Fresno, raising close to $11 million. He also served on several other non-for-profit boards of directors including Friends of the Fresno County Library, Transition Children's Services and the Fresno Rescue Mission.
