The Deputy Minister of National Defence Thanasis Davakis, signed a Joint Ministerial Decision on behalf of the Ministry of National Defence, alongside the Ministry of Health, for the assignment of two (2) medical school graduate enlisted soldiers to the Regional Clinic of Aghia Roumeli, covering the Gorge of Samaria, and the Regional Clinic of Fourni.

Mr. Davakis stated:

"The Armed Forces always stand alongside society, with a sense of responsibility and readiness to aid citizens wherever and whenever needed. By this decision, we guarantee that the residents and visitors of Fourni and the Gorge of Samaria will have the medical care they need".
