Mansfield is closely monitoring a developing Nor'easter along the U.S. East Coast.
The system, forming off the coast of the Carolinas, is expected to strengthen as it moves northward over the weekend. Forecasts indicate it will remain along the coastline through Monday before weakening and moving offshore Tuesday.
The storm is expected to bring heavy rain, strong winds, and coastal flooding from Charleston, South Carolina, through Long Island, New York, and into southern New England. Wind gusts could exceed 50 MPH, leading to power outages, localized flooding, and travel disruptions in affected areas. Coastal regions may also experience beach erosion and hazardous conditions.
At this time, operations across key fuel terminals and supply points remain normal. Mansfield is proactively topping off inventory managed tanks in the impacted region. Mansfield will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as conditions evolve.
