Court Street open to traffic between Muscatine Avenue and Seventh Avenue
Court Street is fully open to vehicle and pedestrian traffic between Muscatine Avenue and Seventh Avenue.
While work on this section of Court Street Reconstruction Project is substantially complete, the contractor will continue to do minor work in the area that will not require extended traffic closures. Motorists are advised to use caution when traveling through the area.
Pedestrian guidance
Students walking to Longfellow Elementary School should continue to cross at Seventh Avenue and Muscatine Avenue the morning of Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2026. Beginning the afternoon of Oct. 27, the crossing guard will move to the intersection of Court Street and Muscatine, where they will remain going forward.
