Pencpa.com and associated website – Advance fee scam

We are aware of an individual who received unsolicited contact relating to funds lost in a pre-IPO scam involving Sanderson International. The FMA previously issued a warning about this entity:

Sanderson International had cold-called New Zealand residents, offering pre-IPO investment opportunities in Uber. Scammers are now falsely claiming the investments have increased in value and are requesting advance fees before any funds can be released.

We remind the public that any investment offers made by Sanderson International are highly likely to have been part of a scam. This latest activity appears to be a continuation of that scam.

We recommend exercising extreme caution if you receive contact from those warned about in this warning.
