Lewis Brisbois Boosts Insurance Defense, Bad Faith, and Transportation Capabilities in Pittsburgh With Hire of Experienced Litigator

Pittsburgh, Pa. (October 23, 2025) - Lewis Brisbois is pleased to welcome J. David ("Dave") Ziegler to the Pittsburgh office as a partner in the firm's Bad Faith Litigation, Insurance Coverage, and Transportation Practices. With more than two decades of legal experience, Mr. Ziegler focuses his practice on complex litigation, including trucking litigation, insurance defense litigation, and insurance bad faith and coverage litigation. He also has extensive experience handling real estate matters and has successfully tried jury and non-jury cases to verdict in several state and federal courts. Mr. Ziegler joins Lewis Brisbois from Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C. where he was a shareholder and served as chair of the firm's Insurance Law and Litigation Group.

In discussing his decision to join Lewis Brisbois, Mr. Ziegler noted, "I am really excited about the opportunity to grow the Pittsburgh office of an Am Law 100 firm. Mr. Ziegler earned his law degree from Penn State Dickinson Law and his undergraduate degree from West Virginia University. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania.
