CTIA Statement on Modernizing the Commission’s National Environmental Policy Act Rules

"CTIA applauds Chairman Carr and the FCC for taking one of the Administration's clearest actions yet to accelerate infrastructure deployment, create jobs, and modernize outdated regulations. By aligning the FCC's environmental reviews with bipartisan changes in the law, these reforms will speed the deployment of wireless infrastructure and help deliver faster and more innovative services for consumers. We also support the FCC's review of its historic preservation process. Together, these efforts could produce more than $7.5 billion in economic benefits over the next decade."
