Wade Shows to Hold One-Day Midway Flash Sale on Thursday, August 6

Reduced Price Wristbands Available Online Starting at 4 a.m.

The gates to The Great New York State Fair open in less than three weeks, and Wade Shows, the official vendor of The Fair's Midway, has announced a one-day, online-only flash sale beginning at 4:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 6, until midnight. The sale features the absolute lowest price for single-day Midway tickets. To purchase tickets as part of the flash sale, please visit The Great New York State Fair's website or the Wade Show's website.

The flash sale features Ride All Day Wristbands on sale for only $24 plus fees, which is a savings of up to $23 per wristband. Wristbands are valid any one day during The Fair's 13-day run and give fairgoers the ability to ride any ride of their choice as many times as they want.

The unlimited ride all day wristband is one of the best values of The Fair, so don't miss your chance to save."

After the flash sale, advance tickets to the Midway can still be purchased by visiting The Great New York State Fair's website or the Wade Show's website.

Advance-sale Ride All Day Wristbands, which allow fairgoers unlimited rides for one day of their choosing during The Fair, will be available online beginning Friday, August 7 through Tuesday, August 25 at midnight for $28 plus applicable fees. After the advance sale ends, wristbands will be available for purchase at The Fair for $37 on weekdays and $47 on weekends plus applicable fees.

Fairgoers can also purchase a Mega Pass, which provides unlimited rides every day of The Fair. The Mega Pass is available exclusively through the online advance sale from Friday, August 7 through Tuesday, August 25 at midnight for $97 plus applicable fees. Customers who purchase a Mega Pass are encouraged to upload their photo during checkout to expedite redemption.

To help guests avoid lines, Mega Passes may be picked up in advance at the Wade Shows Guest Relations trailer near Gate 4 from Friday, August 21 through Monday, August 24, between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m.

To celebrate Opening Day and the second Wednesday of The Fair, Wacky Wednesday Ride All Day Wristbands will be available for $30 on Wednesday, August 26, and Wednesday, September 2-a $7 savings off the regular weekday price.

For guests who prefer to purchase individual rides, credits will be available at Wade Shows ticket booths throughout the Midway:

• 28 credits for $35
• 50 credits for $50

In addition to ride savings, Midway concessionaires will once again participate in Tasty Tuesday on Tuesday, September 1, offering select food items for $3-$5 and individual rides for $3.

The Midway will be open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily, except on Labor Day, Monday, September 7, when it will close at 9 p.m. All riders must meet minimum and maximum height requirements. Please note, the Midway's closing time is subject to change with little notice in the event of inclement weather or other uncontrollable situations. The Fair's social media accounts including Facebook and Instagram, and the Fair mobile app will have updates in live time.
