Santa Barbara Airport (SBA) is proud to celebrate Pride Month by partnering once again with local nonprofit Pacific Pride Foundation (PPF) and highlighting a special offering from Alaska Airlines. Through this continued collaboration, SBA will help promote Pride Month activities, support PPF's annual Pacific Pride Festival, and reinforce the Airport's commitment to providing an inclusive, safe, and welcoming environment for all passengers.
Passengers traveling through SBA during the month of June will see the Airport's "Fly with Pride, Land with Love" banner displayed on the tower adjacent to the terminal entrance. In addition, PPF advertisements will be featured throughout the terminal, helping raise awareness of local LGBTQ+ resources, events, and community programs. As part of its Pride Month celebration, SBA will also participate in the Pacific Pride Festival at Chase Palm Park on August 22, with SBA hosting a booth at the festival to connect with the community.
SBA is also excited to highlight a special Pride Month initiative from Alaska Airlines. Throughout June, any SBA passengers wearing pride colors will receive early boarding on Alaska flights.
