The FCC has issued a Notice of Violation to DAIJ Media, LLC, owner of an antenna tower in Rosenberg for noncompliance with the commission's rules on tower lighting.
The FCC said one of its agents contacted a DAIJ representative in July of 2025, who confirmed that the tower's top beacon was extinguished. The FCC said it reminded DAIJ at that time that "the lighting must be repaired as soon as practicable." The commission followed up on the issue multiple times in 2025 and earlier this year. DAIJ "confirmed via e-mails to the agent that the top beacon had not yet been repaired and remained extinguished."
The FCC has asked for "additional information concerning the violations and any remedial actions taken." The commission said its Enforcement Bureau may take "further action if warranted, including issuing a Notice of Apparent Liability for Forfeiture for the violation."
