Bridge improvements in the Lansing area begin April 20

LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will begin various bridge improvements including installing pressure relief joints and resealing end joints in Clinton, Eaton and Ingham counties beginning Monday, April 20.

Traffic restrictions:
This project will require intermittent single lane/ramp closures. Closures will include US-127 BR over I-69, I-96 over the Grand River, M-50 over I-69, Clare Street over I-496, I-496 over the J&L Railroad, I-496 over Hosmer Street, and I-496 over the CSX Railroad. Motorists should expect delays.

Jobs numbers:
Based on economic modeling, this $416,000 investment is expected to directly and indirectly support 4 jobs.
