The 39th Meeting of the ASEAN-IPR Governing Council discusses the Institute’s work for 2026 to advance peacebuilding in the region
The 39th Meeting of the ASEAN Institute for Peace and Reconciliation (ASEAN-IPR) Governing Council discussed the ASEAN-IPR's 2026 work plan and initiatives to advance peacebuilding in the region, including youth engagement, interfaith dialogue, peace resilience, preventive diplomacy, and women's participation in peace processes. Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community, H.E. San Lwin, attended the Meeting on behalf of the Secretary-General of ASEAN as an Ex-Officio Member of the Governing Council
