Small-business owners, entrepreneurs and startups will have the opportunity to expand their business reach and meet with federal, state and local government procurement officials Wednesday-Thursday, Feb. 11-12.
Wyoming APEX Accelerator will be one of the co-hosts for "2026 Midwest Matchmaker: Connecting Small Businesses with Government Buyers," an online training event from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. To register, go here. Registration is free.
Wyoming APEX Accelerator, part of the Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network housed at the University of Wyoming, is the state's expert in government contracting assistance.
In addition to Wyoming, the event will be hosted by APEX Accelerators from Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota, along with the Native American Development Corp. APEX Accelerator in Billings, Mont.
The event will allow small-business owners to build relationships that could lead to future contracts; network with other businesses in their fields; and gain valuable insights into the procurement process. Small-business owners will be able to schedule pre-arranged appointments with government buyers, prime contractors and resource partners as well as explore procurement opportunities at all levels.
For a list of federal, state and local buyers, as well as prime contractors who will be attending (as of Jan. 6), go here.
