Traffic Advisory Stanislaus County 10/17/25

Closures on State Routes 99, 108, 120, 132, and Interstate 5

Stanislaus County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct various lane and ramp closures next week on State Route 99 (SR-99), State Route 108 (SR-108), State Route 120 (SR-120), State Route 132 (SR-132), and Interstate 5 (I-5). Work is scheduled to occur as follows:

State Route 99

  • Overnight, intermittent full closures of the offramps to the Enoch Christoffersen Rest Areas, Lander Avenue, and West Main Street, in Turlock, for a striping operation beginning Sunday, October 19, through Friday, October 24, 2025, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • Overnight full closures of the Kansas Avenue onramps in Modesto for bridge work beginning Monday, October 20, through Friday, October 24, 2025, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • Overnight alternating lane closures between Carpenter Road/Briggsmore Avenue and Maze Boulevard in Modesto for bridge work beginning Monday, October 20, through Friday, October 24, 2025, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

State Route 108

  • Overnight, alternating lane closures at Tokay Avenue, State Route 219, and Ladd Road in and near Modesto and Crane Road in Oakdale, for construction work beginning Sunday, October 19, through Friday, October 24, 2025, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

State Route 120

  • Overnight, alternating lane closures on State Route 108 (F Street) in Oakdale for electrical work beginning Sunday, October 19, through Friday, October 24, 2025, from 7:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

State Route 132

  • Overnight, alternating lane closures at La Loma Avenue and Claus Road in Modesto and Geer Road/Albers Road for electrical work beginning Sunday, October 19, through Friday, October 24, 2025, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

Interstate 5

  • Long-term, full closures of the northbound and southbound Westley Safety Roadside Rest Areas on I-5 and the auxiliary lane leading to the southbound rest area exit for construction work.
    Note: This project is expected to continue through the spring of 2026.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
