KBR has been awarded the 2025 Vanguard Award by the International Stability Operations Association (ISOA) for its exceptional performance during a high-stakes crisis response in the Middle East. The honor underscores KBR's commitment to transparency, accountability, ethical conduct and respect for human rights while delivering mission-critical support worldwide.

KBR's Vanguard Performance

The 2025 Vanguard Award specifically recognizes KBR's rapid and resilient response during the June 2025 regional conflict in the Middle East. Amid escalating tensions and a 12-day war, KBR sustained zero mission downtime at Naval Support Activity Bahrain by providing uninterrupted power, fuel, water and security services. At the same time, KBR mobilized resources to support U.S. and allied personnel evacuations in the United Arab Emirates, ensuring safe transportation, temporary accommodations and life-support services without compromising mission integrity.

This recognition builds on KBR's history of excellence in stability operations. In 2022, KBR earned ISOA honors for its role in Operation Allies Welcome, providing life-support services for tens of thousands of displaced Afghans across nine sites in the U.S. and Europe. In 2023, KBR was recognized for its support in Eastern Europe, where the company established over 50 emergency sites to assist U.S. and allied forces following Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
"This award reflects the extraordinary dedication and professionalism of our teams operating in some of the most challenging environments on earth," said Doug Hill, president of Readiness & Sustainment at KBR. "Their ability to act decisively under pressure, safeguard lives and sustain mission-critical operations is what defines KBR's commitment to our customers and partners."

Tom Lampley Receives ISOA Lifetime Achievement Award

In addition to the company's recognition, Tom Lampley, a KBR senior business development executive, was honored with the ISOA Lifetime Achievement Award. The award celebrates Lampley's extraordinary contributions to strengthening collaboration between government and industry in support of U.S. national security interests.
Lampley's distinguished career includes over a decade of service on the ISOA board of directors and a term as chairman from 2021 to 2022. At KBR, he has played a pivotal role in expanding opportunities in overseas contingency and stability operations, building strong relationships with government partners and advancing KBR's mission to deliver reliable, ethical solutions in complex environments.

Before joining KBR in 2009, Lampley held senior leadership roles in the private sector and served as a U.S. Air Force officer, retiring as a colonel after 236 combat missions and earning numerous decorations, including two Distinguished Flying Crosses and six Meritorious Service Medals.
