This year, Concordia University Chicago relaunched its alumni travel program with a 9-night international cruise excursion to Iceland-scheduled for July 7-17, 2027-as part of its broader Cougars Connect series. Open to alumni and friends of the University, the program offers a faith-focused travel experience that combines cultural exploration with educational opportunities amid Iceland's most iconic landscapes and landmarks.
The trip is planned in conjunction with Concordia University, Nebraska and is centered on the theme of One Journey-Stronger Together inspired by Ecclesiastes 4:9: "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil."
"Concordia-Chicago is thrilled to partner with our friends at Concordia-Nebraska on this once-in-a-lifetime trip to Iceland-the land of fire and ice," said Emily Kober (BA '09), senior director of alumni relations. "We look forward to bringing together alumni and friends from both universities to create unforgettable memories as we cruise this beautiful country together."
Concordia-Chicago travel hosts include Kober and University President Dr. Russell Dawn, Senior Vice President for University Advancement Jeffrey Hynes, Assistant Vice President for Communications Megan Patsavas, and Senior Director of Strategic Events and Development Lisa Salazar.
An information session will take place on Thursday, March 19, at 6 p.m. via Microsoft Teams. To register for the meeting, please email [email protected].
