Ooredoo, Qatar's leading telecommunications provider, is proud to serve as the Official Telecommunications Supplier of the prestigious Qatar T100 Triathlon World Championship Final, taking place from 10 to 13 December.
The T100 Series is designed to engage participants at every level - from the world's elite professionals competing at the highest level, to dedicated community athletes participating in the inaugural T100 Age Group World Championship, and newcomers discovering the sport for the first time through untimed, single-discipline events such as the Qatar T100 Kick Off Run.
As part of its commitment to promoting sports, wellness, and community engagement, Ooredoo will host a promotional booth for the Doha Marathon 2026, introducing a new Qatar Running Pass that bundles entry to both the 5km race and the Doha Marathon. The aim is to create a united goal that brings together everyone-from Olympic champions to dedicated employees-in celebration of the spirit of sport.
The initiative builds on the success of the Doha Marathon by Ooredoo, which has established itself as one of the world's elite running events, earning the prestigious World Athletics Gold Label for the second consecutive year and securing its place among the top 25 marathons globally. Building on this momentum, the 2026 edition is set to welcome an impressive 20,000 participants from around the world, promising to be the biggest edition to date.
Commenting on the partnership, Sabah Rabiah Al Kuwari, Senior Director Marketing Communications at Ooredoo Qatar, said, "Ooredoo is strongly committed to supporting Qatar's sporting legacy and inspiring our community to embrace healthier, more active lifestyles. Through our partnership with the T100 Triathlon World Championship Final, we are connecting people not just through technology, but through shared passion and purpose-celebrating endurance, unity, and the spirit of competition that defines Qatar as a global hub for sport and wellbeing."
Also commenting on the partnership, Stuart Ramsey, Chief Commercial Officer at Professional Triathletes Organisation, the organiser of the Qatar T100, said, "This partnership with Ooredoo is not just about support; it's about shared purpose. Ooredoo has built its reputation by connecting the majority of Qatar's population, and now they're extending that commitment into mass participation sport. Together, we are creating a platform that not only brings the community closer to our first-ever Qatar T100 Triathlon World Championship Final in December but also enables us to better understand and engage with customers and participants."
The collaboration strengthens Ooredoo's ongoing commitment to inspire active lifestyles and unite the community on the road to the Doha Marathon by Ooredoo 2026. Through the T100 partnership, Ooredoo reaffirms its commitment to promoting wellness, participation, and Qatar's growing global sports legacy. Ooredoo looks forward to welcoming runners to the Doha Marathon 2026.
