Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs attends the reception on the occasion of the 127th Anniversary of Philippine Independence and Nationhood

On 12 June 2025, H.E. Mrs. Lalivan Karnchanachari, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, on behalf of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, attended the reception on the occasion of the 127th Anniversary of Philippine Independence and Nationhood at Siam Kempinski Hotel, Bangkok. The reception was attended by more than 700 guests, comprising high-ranking government officials, diplomatic corps, members of the Filipino community in Thailand, guests from public and private sector, and members of the press.

In her remarks, the Vice Minister congratulated the Philippine government on the 127th Anniversary of Philippine Independence and Nationhood and commended the people of the Philippines for contributing to the continued growth of the country. She further congratulated robust ties that Thailand and the Philippines have shared, which are rooted in multifaceted cooperation, regular exchanges of visits of all levels and strong people-to-people relations. The Vice Minister also reiterated Thailand's readiness to strengthen bilateral cooperation and support for the Philippines' ASEAN chairmanship in 2026.
