NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ (May 2, 2025) - The staff at New Brunswick's City Hall participated on April 30 in National Denim Day, supporting Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
Denim Day is a significant annual event dedicated to increasing awareness about sexual assault and demonstrating solidarity with survivors.
Recognizing their role within the community, it was important for the staff to show their commitment to establishing a secure and respectful environment. The staff's involvement in Denim Day served as a clear visual representation of their opposition to sexual violence and also helped cultivate a culture of empathy and support.
Non-uniformed city employees were encouraged to wear denim to work on this particular day. This observance occurs during Sexual Assault Awareness Month, which takes place in April.
