Closures on State Routes 108, 120, 132, and Interstate 5

Stanislaus County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various lane and ramp closures next week on State Route 108 (SR-108), State Route 120 (SR-120), State Route 132 (SR-132), and Interstate 5 (I-5). Work is scheduled to occur as follows:

State Route 108

  • Overnight, one-way traffic control at Ladd Road for electrical work beginning Sunday, July 27, through Friday, August 1, 2025, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, alternating lane closures at Leveland Road and State Route 219 in Modesto for electrical work beginning Sunday, July 27, through Friday, August 1, 2025, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

State Route 120

  • Overnight, one-way traffic control between Valley Home Road and Cottle Road for electrical work beginning Sunday, July 27, through Friday, August 1, 2025, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.

State Route 132

  • Overnight, alternating lane closures at La Loma Avenue and Claus Road in Modesto for electrical work beginning Sunday, July 27, through Friday, August 1, 2025, from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, alternating lane closures between K Street and L Street in Modesto for electrical work beginning Sunday, July 27, through Friday, August 1, 2025, from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.

Interstate 5

  • Overnight, alternating lane closures between Fink Road and Hamilton Road for bridge work beginning Tuesday, July 29, through Friday, August 1, 2025, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, full closure of the on-ramp to northbound I-5 from Ingram Creek Road for bridge work beginning Tuesday, July 29, through Friday, August 1, 2025, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • Long-term, full closures of the northbound and southbound Westley Safety Roadside Rest Areas on I-5 and the auxiliary lane leading to the southbound rest area exit for construction work.
    Note: This project is expected to continue through the spring of 2026.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
