DALLAS - School for the Talented and Gifted in Pleasant Grove will welcome author Morr Meroz for a special student presentation at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 5. The visit will engage students in a literacy-focused experience, giving them the opportunity to hear directly from the author, participate in the presentation, and receive personalized, signed copies of the book.

Today, Dallas ISD celebrated student-athletes taking the next step in their athletic careers during a National Signing Day ceremony. Seniors from across the district formally committed to competing at the collegiate level by signing their letters of intent, while friends, family, and coaches all gathered to celebrate this milestone.

Spruce High School crafts Valentine's messages for veterans
Students and staff at H. Grady Spruce High School will be crafting Valentine's Day cards with personalized messages of appreciation for local U.S. veterans 11 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 5. Led by the school's JROTC instructor and veteran, Koral Green, the activity emphasizes and reminds students the importance of gratitude and respect for those who have served.
