The PM&C Corporate Plan 2026-27 is now available(link is external)
At the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (PM&C), our purpose is to support the Prime Minister, Cabinet and our portfolio ministers to improve the lives of all Australians, advance Australia's interests, and keep our country safe and prosperous.
We achieve this purpose through three key activities:
- Key activity 1: Advise - we provide high-quality, evidence-based advice to the Prime Minister, Cabinet and portfolio ministers to inform decision-making.
- Key activity 2: Collaborate - we collaborate with stakeholders to support significant government priorities.
- Key activity 3: Deliver - we deliver and implement specialist functions to support the effective operation of government.
Our performance against these activities is measured through a range of metrics outlined in the Corporate Plan and will be reported in the Annual Performance Statements 2026-27, as part of our Annual Report.
