MDOT MVA Offices & VEIP Stations to Close in Observance of Presidents Day
GLEN BURNIE, MD ( February 12 , 2026) - - The Maryland Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) branch offices and Vehicle Emissions Inspection Program (VEIP) stations will be closed on Saturday, February 14, 2026, and Monday, February 16 , 2026, in observance of Presidents Day. The MVA will reopen for normal operations on Tuesday, February 17 , 2026.
Additionally, all VEIP self-service kiosks will be unavailable on Saturday, February 14, 2026, from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for system improvements.
Customers are encouraged to sign up for a myMVA account to access over 60 online services or schedule an appointment at an MVA branch h ere . MVA 24-hour kiosks will be available during the holiday.
