Syracuse Mayor Sharon F. Owens announced a series of four community meet-and-greet events that will take place across the City of Syracuse. These meetings will provide residents the opportunity to meet Mayor Owens and newly appointed Chief of Police Mark Rusin to pose questions and offer feedback.
"Building trust and maintaining open lines of communication with our residents is essential to the work we do every day," said Mayor Owens. "These meetings will allow us to listen directly to community members, hear their concerns, and continue working together to keep Syracuse safe and thriving."
"Strong leadership starts with communication," said Chief Rusin. "Meeting with the community members whom we strive to serve and protect on a daily basis helps ensure we're unified in our mission to keep the city safe."
The meetings will be held at the following times and locations:
Wednesday, May 6, 5:30 p.m - 7:00 p.m. | White Branch Library, 763 Butternut St., Syracuse, NY 13208
