JLL Securities advises affiliates of Cold Link Logistics in delivering fairness opinion related to the platform acquisition by Slate Asset Management and Hamilton Lane

NEW YORK CITY, Dec. 16, 2025 -  JLL Securities announced today it provided a fairness opinion to the board of directors of an affiliate of Cold-Link Logistics in connection with the sale of a majority interest to Slate Asset Management and funds by Hamilton Lane (Nasdaq: HLNE). The transaction involved Cold-Link Logistics, one of the ten largest privately held cold storage platforms in North America.

Cold-Link Logistics operates nine state-of-the-art cold storage facilities spanning nearly 78 million cubic feet of ambient, refrigerated and frozen capacity across the Central, Northeastern and Southeastern United States. The Hollywood, Florida-based company provides temperature-controlled storage and cold-chain solutions to food and perishable-goods producers and distributors throughout North America.

Founded in 2016 by Michael and Nick Mandich, Cold-Link has established itself as a leading provider of cold-chain solutions with facilities integrated and diversified across the food supply chain. The company's strategic locations support food logistics operations for major producers and distributors requiring specialized temperature-controlled storage capabilities.

The platform's portfolio represents modern food supply chain infrastructure, with facilities strategically located across six states including a significant concentration in Florida. The company's assets total 2.6 million square feet with 78 million cubic feet of storage capacity and 220,000 current pallet positions. The majority of Cold-Link's current operated pallet volume is concentrated in assets constructed in 2022 or later, positioning the platform at the forefront of contemporary cold storage technology.

JLL Securities delivered fairness opinions for the individual cold storage facilities as part of the transaction evaluation. The advisory engagement leveraged JLL's specialized cold storage platform expertise, market-level presence across the US Midwest and Southeast regions and a leading investment boutique banking platform headquartered in New York City.
