Open air concerts in Sarajevo and Banja Luka gathered thousands of people to celebrate Europe Day. Organised by the EU Office in Bosnia and Herzegovina in cooperation with Centar Municipality and Garden of Dreams in Sarajevo and Fresh Wave Festival in Banja Luka, the free concerts welcomed people of all ages and provided them with an opportunity to enjoy world renowned DJs as well as regional and local talents.

"Seeing thousands of people gather in Sarajevo and Banja Luka to mark Europe Day was a powerful expression of the aspirations of many citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina for an EU future. Every year on 9 May, we remember the defeat of fascism and the birth of the project to unite Europe and reaffirm our commitment to the values of peace, freedom, and cooperation. Bosnia and Herzegovina's future is in the EU!" said the Head of the EU Delegation and EU Special Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ambassador Luigi Soreca.

In Sarajevo, globally renowned DJ and producer Claptone, recognised for his mysterious golden mask brought a world-class production to the audience. The open-air concert was held in front of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, turning into an unforgettable and symbolic experience. Joining Claptone were established audience favourite Bonjasky and rising electronic star Lubnya, providing a blend of international and local talent.

Simultaneously, the rooftop of Dom omladine in Banja Luke welcomed an impressive line-up of regional and local talents with Guy Mantzur, a globally recognised name in the electronic music scene and one of the key representatives of the modern progressive and melodic techno sound as the headliner. The audience in Banja Luka had the opportunity to enjoy the musical mastery of regional starts Coeus, Nebs Jack, Mladen Tomić as well as Ivan Z.

Under the slogan "Our Future, our Europe" Europe Day celebrations are being organised across the country, offering citizens opportunities to take part in various educational and entertaining activities.
