NIHFCU Earns National and Local Recognition in 2025

2025 has been a year of big recognition for the National Institutes of Health Federal Credit Union. It has earned several awards that highlight its strong workplace culture and dedication to its employees.

Most recently, NIHFCU was named one of the "Best Places to Work for Women" by the Best Companies Group. This national award honors organizations that create a welcoming environment where women feel supported, respected, and able to succeed.

For the fourth year in a row, NIHFCU was also listed among the "Best Credit Unions to Work For" by American Banker. This award demonstrates the credit union's ongoing effort to build a positive workplace where employees can grow both personally and professionally.

Earlier this year, The Washington Post named NIHFCU one of the "Top Workplaces" in the DMV region. What makes this honor special is that it was based completely on feedback from NIHFCU employees. Their voices reflect the pride and satisfaction that staff feel in being part of the team.

These awards illustrate the strong culture and dedicated people that define NIHFCU. By investing in its employees and creating a supportive place to work, NIHFCU continues to stand out as one of the best workplaces in 2025.
