Brendan McKitrick Accepted Into the Partnership of James Moore & Co.

Gainesville, FL (Nov. 4, 2025) - James Moore & Co. is pleased to announce that Brendan McKitrick has been admitted to the firm's partnership effective Nov. 1, 2025.
An employee of the firm for over 12 years, Brendan is a highly regarded leader on James Moore's Government Services team, where he helps lead the firm's rapidly growing government practice that currently serves over a dozen counties, 50 municipalities and dozens of special districts in varying capacities. The work performed by him and his team ranges from traditional external auditor relationships to consulting-oriented services as part of the firm's Municipal Finance Support Services.
In addition to Brendan's contributions to the government team and its clients, his unique background includes the Certified Information Systems Auditor designation and prior experience as an IT auditor with a national firm. This knowledge and experience have helped the firm's audit department consistently stay ahead of the curve with the increasing impact of information technology systems on an organization's financial operations.
Brendan earned a Master of Science in Information Systems and Operations Management and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Florida.
