Forest Lawn Earns 2025 American Cemetery Excellence Award

National recognition of Buffalo's historic cemetery by leading trade publication comes on the heels Forest Lawn's 175 th anniversary celebration.

(Lincoln, RI) - Buffalo, New York's Forest Lawn has been named recipient of the 2025 American Cemetery Excellence ("ACE") Award by Kates-Boylston, publishers of American Cemetery & Cremation magazine, and the leading independent voice in the deathcare industry in the United States for more than 145 years.

The award, which has been given annually for the last 15 years, recognizes cemeteries across the United States for overall excellence, including their performance, innovation, grounds maintenance, community activity and team spirit. Cemeteries nationwide can enter the competition, and the winner is selected based on their achievements and contributions. Forest Lawn's honor comes in a year in which Kates-Boylston received more applications for this award than ever before.
