Autodesk is the Official Design and Make Platform for the Cleveland Browns

Autodesk believes the future of sports stadiums requires more than designing for optimum views of the field-it's about creating immersive and connected experiences for fans, athletes, and communities. In this spirit, we're excited to announce our partnership with the Cleveland Browns as their Official Design and Make Platform.

By harnessing Autodesk's Design and Make Platform, the Browns will set the stage for lasting impact. Our technology will accelerate major building projects with precision and efficiency to create memorable fan experiences for years to come. This partnership builds on Autodesk's growing presence in the NFL, following our recent announce as the Official Design and Make Platform for the New England Patriots.

For decades, Autodesk technology has powered many of the world's most beloved sports stadiums where our favorite teams compete. We are excited to help create vibrant community landmarks that inspire belonging, pride, and possibility.

A new era for NFL stadiums

The Cleveland Browns are one of the NFL's first and most historic franchises. The team's story is woven into the league's earliest eras in the 1950's and this legacy has helped shape Cleveland's identity and grit. Autodesk's new partnership with the Browns will carry this tradition forward while helping to build the next great home for Browns football.

The Browns will use Autodesk Construction Cloud(ACC), now part of Autodesk Forma, to build their new stadium, Huntington Bank Field. ACC will connect every project team through a unified model, enabling informed decision-making, early issue detection, and streamlined coordination. This approach will help reduce waste, optimize resources and deliver a more predictable, sustainable project from start to finish.

Huntington Bank Field is a once-in-a-generation investment that will become one of the NFL's most iconic stadiums. It will be the first enclosed stadium in the AFC North which will provide climate-controlled comfort for year-round use and an elevated fan experience while opening the door to other sports and entertainment events, serving as a catalyst for Northeast Ohio's largest economic development project to date. The stadium is expected to open in 2029 and will accommodate up to 75,000 fans for major events.

As the Haslam Sports Group Senior Vice President of Operations, Phil Dangerfield shares, "partnering with Autodesk gives us access to the most advanced construction and collaboration technology available. As we build the new Huntington Bank Field, Autodesk Construction Cloud will help our teams work smarter and faster to bring a new experience to our fans."

In addition to our partnerships with the Browns and Patriots, Autodesk technology is supporting Tennessee Builders Alliance in the construction of the new Nissan Stadium in Nashville, home of the Tennessee Titans. Teams are using Revit and ACC to create, store, and coordinate design and fabrication models, providing real-time collaboration and helping project teams efficiently deliver the stadium for its planned opening in 2027.

Designing and building modern stadiums

Beyond the U.S., Autodesk technology is transforming the way sports stadiums are designed and built worldwide. In Sydney, Australia, the redevelopment of Allianz Stadiumleveraged ACC, Revit, and Civil 3D to drive sustainability and efficiency, achieving a 40% reduction in steel use for the stadium's roof.

In Wales, Autodesk supported the modernization of the historic stadium of Wrexham A.F.C.Using integrated BIM and GIS workflows, project teams were able to preserve the stadium's heritage while upgrading facilities to meet modern standards.

From Australia and Wales to New England, Nashville, and now Cleveland, Autodesk technology is shaping the stadiums that bring iconic sports moments to the world.

Fans will see the Autodesk brand displayed during home games in the Browns' current stadium-a symbol of our shared commitment to innovating how people experience culture, community, and competition. Together, Autodesk and the Cleveland Browns are shaping a bold, state-of-the-art gridiron for this proud football city.
