Hungary is an important and valuable member of NATO

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán conducted bilateral talks with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte in Budapest, at the venue of the summit of the European Political Community, Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister's press chief informed the Hungarian news agency MTI on Thursday.

At the meeting, the parties reviewed the cooperation of Hungary and NATO. They established that Hungary was an important and valuable member of the North Atlantic alliance.

Mr Orbán and Mr Rutte agreed on the continuation of intensive joint efforts, the press chief's communication reads.
