NATCA Members Participate in Safety Advocacy Training Course

Jul 29, 2025

In June, NATCA hosted its Safety Advocacy Training course in Baltimore, Md. The class brought together air traffic controllers with varying levels of experience as NATCA safety representatives. Participants gained knowledge of the many safety programs, processes, and requirements utilized by air traffic facilities. Attendees took part in practical exercises, and left with the confidence needed to represent your facility.

Michael Taylor (Columbus ATCT, CMH) and Nathan Vinson (Fort Worth Center, ZFW) served as instructors for this class, with Safety Chair John Murdock and Runway Safety Representative Bridget Singratanakul (Dallas-Fort Worth ATCT, DFW) also lending their expertise to the training.

Congratulations to all the participants:

  • Trista Commeau (Atlanta Center, ZTL)
  • Daniel Hines (New York TRACON, N90)
