Road Improvement Project to Begin July 8 on Ellis Road
A road improvement project is starting Tuesday, July 8 on Ellis Road and Linn-Benton Road. The road will remain open to traffic under the control of flaggers. The project is expected to last two weeks.
The improvement project includes new seal coat on Ellis Road from Linn-Benton Road to Highway 100 and on Linn-Benton Road from 71st Street to Ellis Road. Crews will use a "scratch and seal" process for this project, providing extra strength to the road, a more uniform crown for better drainage, and a smoother ride for vehicles.
Motorists are reminded to comply with all traffic signs around construction projects. Do not drive around the barricades in place to protect the public and road crews.
