Public Notice: Proposed Lease ADL 234609
Pursuant to AS 38.05.945 (
USGS Quad Map Tyonek D-4)
Subject to AS 38.05.070(b) the Southcentral Regional Land Office (SCRO) has made a Preliminary Decision to offer a 10-year lease to JWA Investments, LLC dba Tal Adventures Lodge for the construction and maintenance of an airstrip located near Skwentna, Alaska. The site is located within SW1/2 of Section 36, Township 21 North, Range 12 West, Seward Meridian.
The public is invited to review and comment on this Preliminary Decision. A copy of the Preliminary Decision can be found at https://aws.state.ak.us/OnlinePublicNotices/default.aspx or is available in hardcopy upon request. Questions concerning how to comment should be directed to Ben Powell at (907) 269-8549 or by e-mail at [email protected], or by fax to (907) 269-8619. Individuals with audio impairments who wish to respond to this Preliminary Decision by telephone may call Relay Alaska at 711 or (800) 770-8973 for assistance at no cost.
All comments must be received in writing at the above listed mailing address or e-mail on or before 11:59 PM on June 9, 2026. To be eligible to appeal DNR's Final Decision, under AS 38.05.035(i)-(m), a person must have submitted written comments during this comment period.
