3 Community Listening Sessions on Alerts & Evacuations for Palisades Fire After-Action Report

The LA County Board of Supervisors, in a motion led by Supervisor Lindsey Horvath (SD3) and Supervisor Kathryn Barger (SD5), recently commissioned an independent after-action review of alerts and evacuations for the recent fires. This effort is being led by McChrystal Group, a third-party consultant. As part of its independent after-action assessment, community members are invited to share their input and experiences with emergency alert and evacuation processes during the Palisades Fire. The goal of these community listening sessions is to capture a wide variety of experiences and feedback to better understand the public's experience with emergency alert and preparedness for wildfires.

For additional information on these community listening sessions, please contact Edessa Bautista at lac.aar.inquiries@mcchrystalgroup.com.
