Prime Video to invest $2 billion in Latin America between 2027 and 2030
Prime Video announced plans to invest more than $2 billion across Latin America between 2027 and 2030, spanning original programming, locally produced content, and live sports rights in Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, and Chile. The company will more than double its Local Originals in the region, with more than 25 new titles coming in 2027 alone, while expanding live sports coverage-including a new home for the Mexico National Team and more than 200 NBA games per season in Brazil and Mexico. The announcement was made at Prime Video Presents Latin America, the company's inaugural regional showcase event in Mexico City.
