City of Ocala to Host Annual Boo Bash at E.D. Croskey Recreation Center

OCALA, Fla. (Oct. 27, 2025) - The City of Ocala Recreation and Parks Department will host its annual Boo Bash on Friday, Oct. 31, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the E.D. Croskey Recreation Center, 1510 NW Fourth St.

This family-friendly Halloween celebration will feature games, spooky activities, crafts, music, and plenty of candy. Costumes are encouraged, and guests of all ages are welcome. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

"For more than a decade, the Recreation and Parks Department has proudly hosted Boo Bash to provide families with a safe, fun environment to celebrate Halloween," said Misti Barrett, public relations specialist for the City of Ocala Recreation and Parks Department. "We're grateful to our community partners for helping us keep this tradition alive each year."

The City is currently accepting candy donations through Thursday, Oct. 30, to help make the event a success. Donations may be dropped off at the Ocala Recreation and Parks Administration Office, 828 NE Eighth Ave., from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
