County building staff will be performing limited building inspections March 2‐6
La Plata County Building Department staff will be attending the 2026 Colorado Chapter Educational Institute for continuing education from March 2 through March 6. These annual classes ensure that La Plata County building inspectors build their knowledge and skills to best serve the community.
Although inspections will be limited, the Building Department will be open for business. The department will be back to full staff and services starting on Monday, March 9.
