Sometime during the morning hours of September 10th, 2026, a holstered conducted energy weapon (taser) was dislodged and separated from a North District General Patrol member's service duty belt while on active duty in the area of Dufferin Avenue and Salter Street. Efforts are ongoing to locate the device.
Should this device be located by a member of the public, do not try to operate it as it could lead to injury and instead contact police immediately at 911.
