EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Post-Effective Amendment No. 988 to the Registration Statement on Form N-1A for WisdomTree Trust (the "Trust") is being filed pursuant to paragraph (b)(1)(iii) of Rule 485 under the Securities Act of 1933 (the "1933 Act") solely for the purpose of delaying, until April 10, 2026, the effectiveness of Post-Effective Amendment No. 975 ("PEA No. 975"), which was filed with the Commission via EDGAR Accession No. 0001214659-26-000357 on January 12, 2026, pursuant to paragraph (a)(2) of Rule 485 under the 1933 Act. Post-Effective Amendment No. 985 was previously filed pursuant to paragraph (b)(1)(iii) of Rule 485 under the 1933 Act solely for the purpose of delaying, until April 6, 2026, the registration statement for the Registrant filed in PEA No. 975 on January 12, 2026 pursuant to paragraph (a)(2) of Rule 485 under the 1933 Act. Parts A and B of PEA No. 975 and Part C of Post-Effective Amendment No. 987 ("PEA No. 987"), as indicated below, are incorporated herein by reference.
