Brooks Robertson, a fingerstyle guitarist who embodies the creative vision of a postmodern world, will take the Mission Viejo stage when he performs on Saturday, August 23.
Part of the popular Lord of the Strings concert series, Robertson's impressive performance begins at 7 pm in the City Hall Council Chamber at 200 Civic Center.
Acclaimed by notable figures in the guitar world including Nokie Edwards, Thom Bresh, John Jorgenson, and Mason Williams, Robertson requires little more than his two thumbs, eight fingers, and six strings on a wooden box to transport his audience into another realm.
He employs his exceptional technical skills to simultaneously produce bass, rhythm, and melody, transcending traditional genre boundaries. Robertson weaves together hauntingly beautiful compositions, country beats, and jazzy harmonies - crafting a unique art form.
Tickets are $40 and available online at lordofthestringsconcerts.com/tickets.
