Scheduled electric outage for Lynnwood Drive area

(COLUMBIA, MO) - City of Columbia Utilities will be removing a fallen tree from an overhead power line on Wednesday, Aug. 12. The work will require power to be turned off for the area of Lynnwood Drive, Red Oak Lane and Crawford Street. The power outage and work will take place between 8:30 a.m. and noon.

A tree has fallen onto a second tree, causing an issue with an overhead power line. For the crew to remove the tree safely, the power must be turned off.

Affected customers have received door hangers. The outage is expected to affect approximately 70 customers.
