Last call! Abstract submissions to Research Day 2026 due Monday, March 2

Last call for abstracts to showcase student projects at the 4th Annual Georgia College & State University Research Day.

We invite all undergraduate and graduate students to share their projects with the campus community. We also encourage submissions of GC Journeys projects. Projects presented at conferences during this academic year are also welcome. Students who have received or will receive MURACE conference travel funding this academic year are expected to submit their work to Research Day 2026.

  • Due date: The Submission Portal (click) is open till Monday (March 2).
    • Projects do not need to be fully completed at the time of submission; works in progress are welcome!
  • Event date: April 15, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. until 6 p.m.
    • Classes are reassigned for all (students, faculty and staff) to participate.

Research Day is an event to celebrate and showcase student success through mentored research and creative projects and GC Journeys. We hope to see everyone participating as presenters or supporting their peers on this day.
