A blast of cold weather will arrive in Metro Nashville Davidson County over the weekend. It is important to prepare now for the weather.
The Nashville office of the National Weather Services (N.W.S.) forecast very cold air is expected across Middle Tennessee this weekend with temperatures plummeting Saturday night.
Temperatures are forecast to remain below freezing from Saturday night until Monday morning with lows in the single digits possible Sunday night.
O.E.M. teams will be out conducting cold patrols over the weekend.

Launch Pad
Launch Pad operates nightly from November 1 through the morning of April 1 each year. Young adults aged 18-26 should register online at www.nashvillelaunchpad.com and extended hours will run on Monday morning, December 15, until 10:30 a.m.
Emergency Shelter provides a young adult focused, LGBTQ+ affirming, safer sleeping environment, a warm meal, and a hot shower to unhoused young adults 18-26 years old. This program operates from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. from November 1 - March 31.
Emergency Shelter has been the heart of Launch Pad since 2014. These simple shelter spaces are supported by a network of church hosts. It's not fancy, but our staff and volunteers work to create a welcoming, secure, and healing environment for our guests.
