Dentons Lee presents market entry strategies for German medical companies at Korea-Germany Medical Industry Cooperation Forum

Dentons Lee participated in the Korea-Germany Medical Industry Cooperation Forum, held on Monday, June 30, 2025, at the Best Western Premier Gangnam Hotel in Seoul, delivering a presentation on key considerations for German medical companies entering the Korean market.

The forum was organized as part of the German Market Entry Support Programme, commissioned by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK). It was hosted by the Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control (BAFA) and jointly operated by trAIDe GmbH and its Korean partner, Redal Korea.

Representatives from the German federal government, the German Embassy in Korea, and leading German companies in the medical device, life sciences, and pharmaceutical sectors attended the forum to deepen their understanding of the Korean medical industry and explore potential avenues for bilateral cooperation.

Senior Foreign Attorney Bernard K. Ham and Senior Attorney Eunjee Kim of Dentons Lee served as speakers and presented on the topic, "Key Considerations for German Medical Companies Entering the Korean Market." Their presentation offered insights into Korea's regulatory landscape, legal compliance issues, market entry strategies, partnership models, and future opportunities-drawing significant interest from attendees.
