The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 4 in Burlington. This project is scheduled to occur on Friday, October 24, 2025. The Project DOT_NONPROJECT consists of milling and resurfacing a .1 -mile segment of Route 4 in Burlington just east of Mountain Spring Road. This project is to be performed by Waters Construction.

This project has been scheduled to repair damage to roadway caused by an incident on October 15, 2025, DOT_NONPROJECT in Lieu of D# 4-27371.

LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures of Route 4 from Mountain Spring Road to Vineyard Road in Burlington. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The work schedule for this project is from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Friday.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
