Banka selected for national business officer fellowship

Jeff Banka, deputy chief financial officer, has been selected for the 2026-27 National Association of College and University Business Officers Fellows Program.

Banka is among 18 higher education business and finance professionals nationwide selected for the year-long leadership development cohort.

Founded in 2016, the program prepares senior administrative professionals for future chief business officer roles. Participants work alongside higher education presidents, provosts, chief business officers and industry experts to expand management, communication and strategic competencies required for executive leadership.

"Jeff is at a perfect point in his career trajectory to participate in NACUBO's Fellows program," Stacy Pearson, interim chief financial officer said. "His experience, talent and career growth will allow him to get the most from this program and to be an active participant. It is extremely important that we identify and support our future leaders and Jeff is certainly one of those."

Selection for the national program highlights Banka's ongoing contributions to institutional financial management and strategic operations.
