Working Group Charter: State and Local First Responders Counter-Unmanned Aircraft System (C-UAS) Equipment Selection and Deployment

Body

The mission of the Working Group is to support state and local first responders in the effective selection, integration, deployment, and operational use of C-UAS capabilities to protect large-scale special events and critical infrastructure. Initially focused on the 11 World Cup host cities, the Working Group will expand to support additional state and local agencies preparing for future FEMA C-UAS grant opportunities. The group will identify challenges, capture lessons learned, promote interoperable and legally compliant concepts of operations (CONOPS), and help optimize the collective use of federal, state, and local C-UAS assets over the long term.
