All Fireworks are Illegal in Marin!
All fireworks are illegal in San Rafael, Marinwood and all other parts of Marin County. This includes safe-and-sane fireworks!
If you want to see a professional fireworks show, head to the Marin County Fair where a pyrotechnics display occurs nightly at 9:30 p.m.
In the hands of the wrong person, fireworks cause injuries and serious fires.
Violators can be cited, or even arrested and prosecuted.
Violators can be liable for the costs associated with injuries to others, damage to property, and cost of fighting the fire.
State fireworks laws will be enforced by the various Marin police agencies and the Marin County Sheriff.
Call 911 to report fireworks violations.
DO NOT USE FIREWORKS ANYWHERE IN MARIN COUNTY!
