Guggenheim Securities has been named the No. 1 firm in Vault's 2027 rankings for Best Investment Banking Internships for the third consecutive year, recognizing the strength of its Summer Investment Banking Internship Program and its commitment to developing emerging talent.
The recognition builds on the Firm's performance in Vault's 2026 Banking 25 rankings, released earlier this year, in which Guggenheim Securities rose to No. 7 overall from No. 8 in 2025. The Firm also ranked among the top five investment banks across 11 out of 16 banking subcategories including: Business Outlook, Firm Leadership, Quality of Work, Formal and Informal Training, and Relationships with Managers.
Together, these rankings reflect a strong culture of learning in which investment banking professionals can gain meaningful experience, develop their capabilities, and build long-term careers.
The Summer Investment Banking Internship Program provides analyst and associate interns with firsthand exposure to the Firm's investment banking activities. Interns contribute to transaction-related work, engage with experienced bankers, and develop the technical and professional skills essential to the industry.
Vault's internship rankings are based on surveys of 18,000 interns across more than 250 programs who evaluated their experiences across areas such as career development, compensation, quality of life, and employment prospects.
"The best aspects of the internship were the structured mentorship program and the training, the network density, the exposure to live deals and learning opportunities, but most importantly the culture and the people I got to work with," a Guggenheim Securities intern told Vault.
"The firm is very encouraging of welcoming back interns full-time and offers every opportunity to do so," added another intern.
Within the 2027 Vault Rankings, the Firm also ranked No. 1 in Best Internships for Finance, up from No. 2 in 2025. It ranked No. 5 in Best Internships for Overall Career Development for the second consecutive year.
